Retrofit full parking sensors

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have front and rear parking sensors on my MY2016 at present, and I notice when you spec park assist you get a few more (maybe 4 more?).

Has anyone or does anyone know if it's possible to retrofit the extra four (or whatever) sensors to get full surround sensors?

Mike.

It’s possible. You need four more sensors, a button, a new PDC box and some wiring.

Are all these still necessary if I don't want park assist, but just the extra sensors, or are they the same thing?

What's a PDC box?

Same/same. The box mentioned is the ‘control unit’ for all the sensors.

Awesome thanks. Where does this box sit? Behind the glovebox or in the engine bay?

Behind the trim in the trunk. Don’t recall which side; possibly the drivers side (to you).
