Speakers covered by warranty?

Featured Replies

HI folks,

I have noticed recently that the speakers in the rear passenger seats (at the bottom) do not work. I am unsure when they stopped working as I usually am in the car alone. I haven't been playing music excessively high etc.

Is this covered under the warranty? The car is 15 months old. If so, how would I go about getting ti repaired?

Also, I get some condensation on the front left headlight unit when its raining heavy (UK).

Thanks.

Have you checked the audio setting to ensure the sound hasn’t been diverted wholly to the front of the car?

Are the headlights Xenon with DRL’s? If so the misting isn’t unusual as the lights don’t emit enough heat to burn off the condensation. This problem isn’t  limited to the Superb or even Škoda.  Happens in everything with low voltage (heat) units

Oh and yes you should have 3 years warranty so book the car in with your local/preferred dealer if you find there’s any issues.

Have you got all this sorted yet?

Here in AUS, Škoda is covered by a 5yr Warranty.

Take it up with them, without doubt it will be covered under warranty!!!
