Timing Belt Change

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone

Looking for help on when my timing belt should be changed on my Skoda Rapid 2013 TDI, it's done 63,000 miles.

Thanks in advance

Just got an update from Skoda, it should be changed 140,000 miles or every 5 years whatever comes first.

A figure they reach for the UK because that suits 'Fleet / Lease' vehicles.

Out of the Manufacturers Warranty or even the Extended 2 years.

If a private buyer buys a 'keeper' and that is ex Lease / Fleet vehicle that might have had lots of drivers or abuse then maybe consider changing before 140,000 miles / 5 years.
