Not being a fan or having faith in gunk for punctures i would like to get hold of a spare wheel.

Would a space saver off a mk5 golf fit ? Both my car and saver are 18" and as far as i can check pcds are the same (5×112). 

Any reason that it wont fit? Cheers guys

may not be capable weight wise, personally have no faith or trust in space savers so have a full size spare, other curious thing  about space savers i used to have a MG ZTT estate the space saver would only fit on the rear due to the calipers so if you had a front puncture you had to swap a rear tyre to the front what a faff!

You need a 205/55/16 5x112 spare steel wheel. Plenty VAG cars come with them as spares and also on the car. Seen them listed on eBay too including the jack and foam as well.
