So.... champion MIr is upset that Marc followed him in Q1 to get his qually time.

It's dangerous , not fair etc...boo-hoo boo-hoo.

Marc then did an even faster time without the tow, but Mir's still moaning.

Any way on to Q2 where MM93 ended up on Row 2.

I didn't look any further down the grid so I don't actually know where the current "champion" qualified.

Well, it's not unknown for competitors who get on with driving/riding their own machine rather than whining to the meedja to report that they made a faster lap when being slipstreamed than by themself. Perhaps Mir needs to learn to ride?

Well done MM, seventh after 9 months out.

Vinales on wrong tyre for him ?

Third Yamaha victory in a row, top speed is not everything clearly.

Jason Dupasquier has died following a crash in Moto3 Saturday practice. Kudos points to the following for their reactions:-

  1. His team, Prustel GP for not racing on Sunday.
  2. Fellow Swiss rider Tom Luhti for withdrawing from the Moto2 race.
  3. Fabio Quartararo for waving a Swiss flag in his honour on the top step of the MotoGP podium.
  4. George Russell (yes that one) for this tweet, "Motorsport can be so cruel. Thinking of the family and friends of Jason Dupasquier aand everyone in the MotoGP paddock. Ride in peace, Jason".

Absolutely no kudos to the Stevenage Gangsta because, while this was happening, he was jumping out of a perfectly serviceable aircraft.

That's very low.

Using the tragic demise of a young rider as an opportunity to spout off your sly anti-Hamilton propaganda.

Shocking. Even beyond what I would expect from some on here.

All good news from Yamaha of late. then,

Rossi retired, Mav suspended, Petronas quit, SRT reduced to 1 or 2 B-Spec bikes and binning their Moto2/3 teams...

Fabio better win the title or the whole years going to ****...

Rumours Crutchlow will take Vinales place for a while.

Plenty of Yamaha web and Moto2 riders who will jump at the chance.

So Diablo for the motogp championship, Yamahas first for a few years.

Yamahas big guns in WSB have both turned down a Petronas (Sorry SRT) ride for next year already. They'll have to bring some Moto2 kids up.

Toprak seemed opened to the idea but is in with a chance of the WSB Championship.

Locatelli is quality as WSS 600 champion

Gerloff I am not convinced.

Always loads of promising talent as their a re dozens of great R6 riders who could setup to the R1M but you never know until they are in the mix.

El Daiblo keeps scoring podiums, even in 3rd, the MotoGP title should be his.

Yeah, good that. Johnny Rae actually has someone giving him a race of it!

It has also been that Kawasaki have concentrated on WSB rather than being split over MotoGP and WSB.

Shame this bike below is not allowed to race because of the supercharger...........

King of the Road (track, one has to remap etc a H2 or H2SX to get up to 300 hp) ............

Kawasaki H2R 0-200 mph in 16.83 seconds

Kawasaki Ninja H2 UK price and final specs confirmed | Visordown

2017.

Oh and the French lad won the title, quite convincingly.

Maybe a yamaha motogp, wsb and bsb for the m1/r1,  not bad for an olde inline 4.
