BTCC @ Snetterton - Advice

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

Thought this is probably the best place to put this. But I will be heading to the BTCC round at Snetterton this year and wanted a few pointers from those that have been before. Firstly, its my first trip to the btcc since Brands Hatch in '98, I assume things are a bit different since :D.

Can anyone recommend a good spot for viewing the action? Both for 'action zones' and also getting the most view of the track. My Mrs is coming along with me and her interest in motorsport is.....casual shall we say, so need to keep her entertained, Though she thoroughly enjoyed the Goodwood FoS and we have been twice. Tickets are just general admission so can be quite flexible as to where we go.

Any suggestions for support series to focus on, or events on the day to go to from those in the know would be great. Hopefully if I pull this one off well, then I might be able to get to a few more racing events accross a year without a 20 year gap in between!

Cheers
Rob

Well you've got a while to figure it out. Snett is normally after the summer break. I've not been since the remodelling but I used to like to watch at Riches (Turn 1) - very fast and often people going off; I also used to take lots of pics at Coram.  The spectator banks at Williams and Nelson should see the most overtaking - map here:
