Long term data issue

Featured Replies

After 8000-9000 km the long term data resets itself. I'm currently at around 28000 km and it just happened (it's the third time).

Has anyone faced this issue before? it's very annoying when all your data is gone after some many km. And I can't find out a logical explanation to this. Of course I've never reset it myself.

I own a MY17 hatch Superb, Style edition 150hp diesel.

Thanks in advance and greetings from Spain.

It’s not an ‘issue’, it’s all programmed to reset after 99 hrs 59 mins.

That must be annoying...I reset mine Every 5 thousand-ish miles anyway so not a problem.  I see 5000 miles as long enough to be classed as long-term :)

Worth mentioning that if you have the Skoda Connect app you can see the 'previous' long term data sets.

Thanks @Gizmo I hadn't realised this. If it's (just under) 100 driving hours, that's about 8 - 9 weeks for me - not exactly long-term. Can it be changed (say using VCDS) for us high-mileage types?

it resets after 9999km

i change oil in the engine when it reach 300 hours,
which comes on 7-10 kKm

Thanks Gizmo. Interestingly I was checking mine yesterday, and noticed the long-term was showing c140 miles where the since-refuel was over 300. I've done just over 3.5k miles in the couple of months since buying the car and resetting the long-term number, so I think mine must have gone over the 100 hours and reset on that, as Gizmo's did. It would tie to an average speed of 35MPH which feels about right given the different mix of work / local mileage during the winter as compared with summer.
