Featured Replies

I have seen pictures online of yellow speedos for the Skoda felicia but cant see where you can get them in different colours. Does anyone on here know?

You got me baffled here ;)

Would it fit my Felicia Hachback? I assume that the instrument panels are the same? Also do they come in other colours?

Yes, they'd fit. However, to the best of my knowledge, the Fun's had rev counters, so there's no "clock" version.

Not seen them in other colours. The Funs were yellow because the trucks were yellow ;)

You could do a scan of them, colour them as you see fit and print on to transparency, cut and fit. Depends on how much faffing around you're up for I supose.

Thanks my car has a rev counter and digital clock so it should work. I would go for yellow if thats whats available, if I can get them. Its more about makingit different from the norm.

Well, the light sources in the cluster are white bulbs, so if you went along the scan/transparency route then you could have whatever colour combination you wanted. That would give you "different fron the norm" ;)

Thanks I guess I will have to work out how to do that, I suppose i could also customise the look of them that way too? EG as Im in the UK they do require MPH on the dial, but I would like the km/h bigger as the numbers go higher as km is shorter than miles. I guess that would be almost impossible to get as stock? I would also like green dials as that would match the colour of my car. So custom seems the way to go.

Im also looking to change the ODO and trip to KM if possible, Obviously keeping the same mileage, is it possible to just source a metric ODO from a European vehicle?

As long as you kept the numbers/markings in the correct position, you could do as you wish. Moving the numbers/markings would effectively change the speed calibration.....not a good idea.

Yes of course the markings would have to stay at the same points around the dials, I just want the mph numbers to be the smaller ones.

I finally found the yellow unit on ebay, I just want to know if I would need anything else to make it work in km or will the instrument cluster do that itself?

Well my new instrument cluster arrived today and its all fitted in my car.

Cool It would be good if there was green as that was what I really wanted but hay ho yellow is ok. Your red really looks good though! They probably should have put different colour needles on though, as they dont show up against the red dials so well.

I never had any vissibility issues, day or night. I think the quality of the photo confuses.

I vaugely recall seeing a picture of white dials (with black numbers), but, when you put the lights on, the dials glowed green. (like on an Escort Cosworth). I had an Escort special edition with these, quite effective, and a little eerie if you're used to the numbers illuminated.

Ah very rare then!

I made my own scanned the dials on photo paper added blue stip lights in side worked but ended up fitting a mk4 golf light dimmer to dim them all down as every think lit blue at night... only problemthe sun faded them in the end
