Just a quick question, has anyone found an easy way of changing the fuel filter on the Felicia pickup. My numb hands don't fit along side the fuel tank.

If there is a heat shield, you should remove it first. If not, you need thinner fingers. I know, it's a pita job.

Yes there is a heat shield, I took that off but still couldn't manipulate the filter out. Any merit in taking the fuel pipe off the pump and tying a piece of string to it and pulling whole lot through?  Will it pull back without too much hassle?
