I have posted a few times here, but now that I finally got my VRS I just want to say thanks to everyone on this board for helping me decide to buy such a great little car. I am an American living in France, and my last car was a 2001 WRX, but that was in the land of cheap petrol. After tons and tons of research, including reading this site everyday, I ordered a vrs without having driven one, always a scary prospect :eek:

Long story short, everything I have heard about this car is true. Its just loads of fun! You vrs drivers know what I mean. My last VW car was a 1973 Type III Variant/Squareback, and I must say, I've missed the VW dna since then. I just didn't know it!

The Xenon headlights are so nice, the heated seats are so nice, even the stereo sounds...so nice.

I'm sure I'll have questions in the future, but knowing I'm part of such an informed, friendly and helpful group really made a difference in deciding which car to buy.
