Sticking clutch pedal

Featured Replies

Hello any advice,  my car is in the dealers. The clutch pedal sticks for a second at the biting point ...its an intermittent fault..the car drives fine,  just an eary feel while driving mk111 1.6tdi elegance

My first thought with things like this is always carpet catching the pedal. (I had this on an old car once).

If this is ok & the car is at the dealers I guess you will have some feedback from them fairly soon as long as they can reproduce the issue.

No the carpets are clear. The dealer is having the car overnight ,test driving it .its an  intermitant fault.

Air in the clutch hydraulic pipes?

I had a very similar feeling in my old insignia, i ended up having the pedal box replaced under warranty (twice)
