I queried this with Škoda UK and was told to not expect it to become an option until late ‘18, possibly early ‘19

 

 

I'm waiting to retrofit it to my 18...

It's succesfully done on Passat.

In Kodiaq you can already retrofit... cost 1.7k EUR

I still wonder how a “simple” LCD screen can be so freaking expensive? Short of the cost of a retrofit, even the cost as option when you spec it on a new car is bonkers. I imagine margins must be through the roof.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are actually now cheaper to produce than analog dials.
