Hello. Can anyone assist with the correct part numbers for replacement standard shock absorbers, front and rear, for a 2006 Octavia estate 1.9 tdi 4x4. Thanks.

Apologies but it still confuses me, it shows 12 options for the front shock, and one part number for the rear, but when I look in to the aftermarket rear options, there are quite a few from each brand.

I recently put four Sachs dampers on my other Skoda, very happy with them. How do I confirm which of the many Sachs part numbers will give a suitable set of new front and rear shocks for my 4x4?

If the car currently has the factory fit shocks still on, there will be part number stickers on them. May need to remove one front and one rear wheel to see them.

Yes, have read previous suggesting to do that, probably best way to avoid ordering incorrectly but was hoping to avoid it if possible

Have a look at your options sticker in the boot area, looking for 2Ux, Gxx and Lxx numbers to match up to the ones in the 'data model' column of the relevant pages.
