Hi

 

Ive been getting a warning message for the last few days informing me that ‘skoda adaptive lane guidance’ is not available and then today started with a warning telling me that the 12V battery is low.

 

The car is only a few months old and not had any electrical issues before.

 

 I have a hardwired dashcam and I fitted a voltage protector. Again, had no issues previously.

 

Any ideas?

My first advice would be to unplug the dashcam for a week or so, give the battery a good (or good drive to charge it) & see if the problem goes away.

Whilst battery issues seem not uncommon for the Octavia, a good proportion of the problems with StopStart or Battery errors reported from the forum seem to come from dashcam installations.
