Quite fancy the AMG-MB 400SL with 17k off if I'm honest.

What deals have you seen out there?

42% discount on a diesel toledo?

I know im under educated on the new car market as its gonna be another few yrs before i justify the outlay on a new car, but how the hell do they sell a car with that level of discount brand new, and turn any profit? Or is it just a highlighter of the profit margin generally put on the new car market...

They are just like Pyramid Selling.  There is a product though, the vehicles, they manufacturer them, people want them, buy or lease.

But really Finance and Money is their business, keep the cars being sold, registered out there and the money coming in, lending, charging interest even when it is 'Interest Free'. Vehicles cheap to build and the Free Market and Custom Union, EU and loads of waste of time producing parts and assembly and road and rail and ferry transport into the UK, across the channel, back and fore and Global Sales, cars from other non EU countries.

BREXIT and The Donald messing it all up a little just anytime soon, and then VW Group really rocked the Boat because they were caught cheating and the other manufacturers were already preparing with Hybrids and EV's & VW / Audi had Invested in Diesel / Hybrids as the future.

They had build huge Diesel Engine Production Plants and Electric Superchargers and the likes in Hungary and in South America.

all change coming soon, but only small petrol engines and light hybrids in the main because stiil batteries are the issue.

But then you can rent them, keep the Pyramid Selling going on, and tie drivers even more to Manufacturers / Dealership workshops.

Its the low spec diesel. That is one bargain taxicab right there... at under 11k new!

Last year I (and others on here) bought the top spec petrol one with 41.9% off too.
