Rear Windscreen washer

Featured Replies

Afternoon all! I've tried searching and failed so apologies if this has been asked/covered. I've got an 06 Octavia Hatchback and the washer is no working. The wiper is fine (the odd stutter if used for a while but I can deal with that!), the jet motor sounds like it's kicking in when I push the stalk, but zero water :( I've poked the jet hole to check for any debris blocking it but all looks ok. Any tips?

The tube on the rear wiper may have become disconnected quite common apparently happened twice on my Fabia.

Ah fingers crossed that's it! Do I need to take off the boot surround to get to it?

Found this -

Glad you resolved it, I love my Fabia Vrs, but they suffer the same problems this and leaking rear door seals.

Had this problem myself. The water hose had disconnected in tow places. First at the wiper motor. Second in behind the side trim on the left hand side.

Just make sure you have a strong washer solution over the winter to avoid freezing, which can push off the pipe.

mine stopped working and after stripping panel and shoving wires in nozzle to unblock found the pipe had snapped as it went through rubber grommet into back  nearside panel at side of tailgate,
