Front Grill crack

Featured Replies

Sportline 67 plate 1st Sept last year model 2018. I have a crack running along the bottom of the front grill. Just under the black slats, running left to right around 12 inches.

Its just above the shiny black frame , sitting where the slats end vertically.

I have checked the front bumper and all front area and no impact marks , all is perfect. The grill is made of ,, to me really crappy plastic. Flimsy feeling.

Could this bad weather we had recently ( best fae the east) have done this , you know car hot then extreme cold,,, have other members had this ?

Is it warranty issue i can argue?

How much to replace ? , knowing car parts i bet its stupid money

Not experienced this or thought the grille was flimsy so to speak.

There’s a fair few members from much colder climates than ours and and I can’t recall anyone reporting a similar issue. I’d be surprised if temperature was a factor unless it went from extreme hot to extreme cold within a matter of seconds.

Bird strike perhaps?
