Golf GTi wheels by the looks of it, very snazzy.

They are looking good!!!!!

They look very nice.

Looks very good. Drop it 25-30mm and it will set of those wheels even better.... good choice tho!

:)

a good choice!

Talking wheels, can anyone recommend a favourite make/type cleaning brush for alloys?

I swear by Wonder Wheels myself used it for years great product keeps them nice and clean.

Meguires Hot Wheels, damn good stuff.

I like Wonder Wheels too, but I was thinking more of an ordinary brush for when they don't need the cleaner all the time. I find my latest alloys clean really well with just hot water but I don't like the brush I've got [something out of Halfords years ago] for getting in the corners.

yea. like them. but i think u should lower as well. :D:thumbup:

Look good.

I use wonder wheels when really dirty, Or just hot soapy water.

Wonder wheels is good if you let the wheels get really bad. My advice (especially with the pictured wheels) and with the likes of the 17" Pegasus wheels as on My Octy 2 Estate is to spend 20 minutes after you have polished your car bodywork and apply some wax to the wheels, Wonder wheels is a mild acid and will surly remove all traces of polish leaving the paint on your alloys unprotected. Coated with wax the wheels resist dirt and corrosion as well as enabling you to wash them much easier.

Wheels look great by the way, How do they compare cost wise with Pegasus alloys?

I'v never seen OII with this type of wheels (these round shape holes), but I must say, they look very attractive! Good choice! :-)))

Wonder Wheels - don't use more than 3 or 4 times a year. Highly corrosive and will eat your laquer if used too much. But it is very good at cleaning wheels and removing the grime, tinge and muck, just make sure you rise very well!!

Also, I use a £2.99 red handle alloy wheel brush from halfords. Black bristles, looped over type, very good at its job and cheap as well. Usually buy one or two a year as they don't last too long, but at £3 a pop its not an issue really!

That's the same brush I use! It is pretty good except for the section of the wheel nearest the ground. But then I was told do the top half then roll forwards 180 degrees to do all the rest. Sort of makes sense!

Re: Wonder Wheels, had no trouble on my Primera or either Octy, but it ruined the lacquer on my Rover coupe alloys - don't know if that is just bad luck or bad Rover wheels! But these Octy 2 wheels seem to hardly need it anyway - not even shampoo/soap, just hottish water on a sponge most of the time. Different brake dust maybe???

Like the wheels.

Looking Fine !!!
