Brochures....

Featured Replies

Picking up a '67 plate MkIII hatch tomorrow. (Quartz grey, DSG, Sat Nav, spare wheel and 2,000 miles - Sept. '17).  My wife is struggling health-wise with her manual Citigo so a DSG Fabia seems the way to go. Wouldn't contemplate the ASG Citigo.

Anyway, popped into the local dealer (not buying there but they are closer to hand) wanting to pick up a brochure for my wife's perusal but there were none. E-mailed Skoda to have one sent and they tell me they are stopping brochures (in printed form) entirely. Downloads or nothing I'm afraid. Well not quite - when I challenged them were they waiting until the F/L before printing again they said no - no more brochures after current ones are exhausted. They did say that if we needed a printed version the Dealer could print it off (on plain A4 paper).

Seems a shame in  my mind.

Seems to be the way forward now, go on the Skoda website and you can build your own Fabia, print off and take to the dealer and tell them this what you want.

Have to admit I rather like the physical brochure in my hand before purchasing a car.

They are following the general trend that's creeping into car and motorcycle sales. It saves a huge amount of money and whole forests of trees!

I used to collect car brochures from garages as a kid. Still got some. I imagine they are worth a bit to classic car owners now.

If you've got a 1992 Mk1 Golf Cabriolet one I'd be interested, It depends on when you were a kid!

Skoda UK website has a new prices and specs brochure dated 3 July 2018

brochure seems to relate to old MY18 version, not new facelifted version.
