Away to order up some wheels for the car, can some giver advice on which offset is best?

They offer et 35 , eat 40, or et 45, not sure what to pick, any preferences? I’ll also be lowering the car to .

I’d b going with 35 offset mate. Standard wheels for the Octavia vrs are 51 and a lot of people running 15mm spacers so that would be spot on. However the facelift Octavia do have a wider rear axle 30mm total I think so depends on what model you have pre facelift the 35mm would be Ace, post facelift (split front headlights) I’d have thought the 45’s would be sound

^^^This, absolutely, BUT only if you are going with 7.5J width as per Extremes.

If you are looking at 19 x 8's or even 8.5 then maybe go with 40 but I reckon 45 with an 8.5J width. I have 15mm spacers on Extremes at the rear and wouldn't want any more poke TBH.

www.willtheyfit.com is very good to help visualise your options.

They are 19x8.5 so u think a ET45 is best ? I’ll go for that

Sounds good - don't forget to post photos!

Willtheyfit tells us this:

So you have approx 19mm more poke - I deffo wouldn't go more than that.

I'd probably go with 235/35/19 tyres rather than 225/35/19 too - I have them on my Extremes, and with an 8.5J rim I'd definitely do that.
