Reset service reminder after service

I'm having trouble resetting the service reminder on my mk1 Fabia vrs, followed the YouTube tutorials but it just won't have it, help

I tried this last year and it worked for me.

Hopefully you will have sorted it now Chris, I have been having the same problem for a couple of days and it wouldn't go out on mine using that method.

It seems that the one described only works for the standard fixed interval service and not for the long life service interval.

 

I have scanned this from the Haynes manual and the method described in section 3 worked for mine.
