Recommended Tyre Size

Car has always had 205/60r15 size tyres, but on recent visit to Skoda dealers for replacement 185/60r15 were fitted.

After 6 days of being fitted front drivers side tyre went after riding over catseye at 40mph. Manual recommends 195 or 205 but nothing about 185.

Garage say they're ok, but don't want to risk high speed blowout on motorway. Confused & worried.

You might also want to add exactly what car and engine you have, I'm guessing an Octavia?
