Clicking from steering wheel

Featured Replies

My skoda fabia mk3 1.4tdi sel has started making a clicking noise when you turn the steering wheel. The noise seems to come from directly under the steering wheel. Has anyone got any ideas

If you open the driver side door you can remover the rubber seal and the semi-circle of plastic on the end of the dash board, no tools needed just pull it apart and take a look :)

Thanks i will take a look

There was some one on the Ibiza forum that had that problem and needed to replace the "clock spring" assembly below the steering wheel.

Edit:- warranty job?

As suggested,if it's still under warranty don't touch it or it may be invalidated.

Agree with Rick, if under warranty take to Skoda
