Issue Detected Clutch movement circuit

Featured Replies

So for a while our Monte MK3 DSG 2016 has been making a high pitch electronic humming sound. Car is performing ok as far as can tell no clutch slip issue's as in the other krigl thread

Wife uses mainly motorway journeys 40 miles per day.

I have scanned for faults on Android  and reset and the codes have come up with 'Issue clutch movement circuit'

the 'electronic' humming sound on startup has gone for now i have reset, but report suggests to inspect TCM, any idea's what TCM is?

Car is in warranty.

As it is a transmission related issue, maybe Transmission Control Module? (or traction control module, which in this case would exist within the transmission control module)

thanks will see if the error code comes back

Are you getting it into a main dealership to get it checked out for a Warranty issue, or action as the TPI?

Will see if the error comes back first as i have cleared it for now, Will know in a few days if i can hear the humming sound again and a scan brings up the fault

Is there a known TPI for this issue?
