Headlight superb silver plate fallen

Featured Replies

Hi, anyone know how to fix this? The silver superb plate has fallen in the headlight assembly.

Thanks,

Kash

Welcome to Briskoda B)

I've never seen that before, looks like the glue has failed or the plastic itself has snapped.

Unfortunately the headlight is sealed, the only access is through the very small aperture on the back used to access the bulbs for replacement.

How old is the car? Even if out of warranty I'd ask Skoda for help. I'd imagine the headlight cluster itself should last the life of the car, assuming it hasn't been the subject of an impact or accident damage.

Unless that is, you're feeling brave...

Thanks for your reply.

The car is 5 years old so out of warranty. Not been in any accident and no damage anywhere on the light. It looks like it has just fallen out as the plastic clip looks intact. May take it to skoda and see what they say.
