I have a 2014 1.6tdi which has covered almost 50k miles.

 

Anyone know what the cambelt change interval is? (I usually do it 10k early just in case!)

Nice to share the info then,  what do they say,  miles / years?  For the UK,  people owning cars not just fleet operators?

I did wonder if anyone would ask ....

 

"Replacing toothed belt for camshaft drive and tensioning pulley" 120,000km in high-dust countries, 210,000km in low-dust countries (I suspect the UK fits into the latter). Best however to download your own copy of the documentation in case of misinterpretation.

 

So I won't worry about it for a while, just have a peek at it every now and again just in case.

130,000 or even just 120,000 miles is a longtime with say a car that only does 12,000 miles a year.

10 whole years. 

Manufacturers Schedules and guidelines need taking with a pinch of salt.  

Those buying a used car maybe ex fleet / lease and wanting the car as a keeper should maybe go on the safe side or the manufacturers suggested mileage.
