Looking to replace both pairs of CV joints should I change drivehshaft instead?

Featured Replies

Think my CV joints need changing due to clicking noises and clunking when turning at speed, figure I might as well change both the wheel side and inside joints, is it worth doing this or should I just change the whole drive shaft?

I would not bother changing the inner CV joins (unless their boots have been split and exposed to wet weather) as its usually the outers that fail.

Steer clear of Euro Car Parts cheap CV joints as they don't last very long.
