Gap between windscreen and dashaboard

Featured Replies

Had an unfortunate incident recently in my 2016 Superb MK111 which resulted in my iPhone slipping down between the gap on the dashboard and the windscreen.  Be warned without a cover on an iPhone 7 you will lose it in the gap!!  I managed to hang on to it only just whilst my wife grabbed a knife to prize it back out in the process of recovering the phone out the knife vanished down the gap which now rattles & vibrates when I’m driving which is really irritating.  Any ideas on how I can get the knife back out.  Vacuume cleaner won’t do it or a flat magnet!  Any other ideas really welcome.

thanks

Can you pop off the cover for the central dash speaker to see in there and use the above pick-up tool/magnet to get to the knife?

I'm not sure exactly how that cover comes off, but I'm sure there'll be a description somewhere.
