Displaying Road Name at top of Infotainment

Featured Replies

Hey all,

Does anybody know how to change the Drive Mode text located in the top left corner of the infotainment system to the current road name? I have seen a few images about the place with the road name displayed in its place. I have the Amundsen MIB2 installed in a 2016 Octavia vRS. Below is a screenshot of how it currently looks.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

AFAIK, it only displays your location when the engine is off.

Dunno if there's a mod to permanently display it... Your other option is to just put your nav on....

Ah, good to know. Thanks for your help.

Does it not do it if the driving modes in normal? I may be wrong and I may need to check I just thought it does?

I've noticed this too on my car, well both of the Octavia I've had, my last was a 65 plate and my new is a 67 plate, both SE L estate spec with Amundsen infotainment system.

MIB1 Columbus 2014.

I think mine displays driving mode on the move & then road name once stopped and engine off (but ignition still on).

I’ll have to check tomorrow to be sure.
