Fuel Filter Connector / Feed Pipe from Tank

Featured Replies

Afternoon all,

Well what should have been a 5 minute job has turned into the usual nightmare. The previous owners un-trained spanner monkey managed to damage the push on connector on the fuel feed line from the tank. It is now impossible to fit it to the new filter. I know I require a new feed pipe, does anybody know the part number..?? and how much of a pain is dropping the fuel tank..?? or is it possible to chase it through the route of the old pipe..??

My friendly TPS sorted me out a new pipe.

Hi mate, how did you install this in the end?  Did you manage to route it easily enough without having to drop the fuel tank?  Same issue with my car, previous ****** has mangled the clip all up, probably trying to lever it off with a screwdriver.

I dropped the tank. I undid the bolt on the fuel filler and the 4 bolts on the support straps under the tank. It drops down onto the rear axle and gives you enough room to get the pipe and your hand through with no bleeding knuckles. Took me about 15 minutes start to finish.

Thank you absolutuk, appreciate your help :)
