Maxidot turned off

Featured Replies

Hello everyone.
Today i was driving my 2015 octavia mk3 and the maxitod went black, like it was off for a short period of time, maybe 2 secs, and that turned on by itself at the menu page where it was before. Showing the speed. Nothing seemed wrong , i have checked all the infos on the maxidot and was OK. I don't know it the shut off and on was a problem or just some kind of restart.
If anyone has had this problem feel free to comment.

Mine just did this today. Went completely off for a couple of seconds whilst driving and then came back on again as if nothing had happened.

Hi,

It is happening the same with my 2016 Skoda Superb MKIII. The display randomly  shuts down for 1 to 2 seconds.

Does it still happening with your display?

Thank you.

Hi all

Old topic, I know, but this has recently happened on mine a couple of times too. Does anyone know why?

I wud check battery and alternator condition first

Do the basic checks on the battery and alternator and check the CCA of the battery. I have a rule of thumb that anything less than 70% of the given CCA on the battery means it's probably junk and needs replacing.
