Bolero. Using sd card and bluetooth

Featured Replies

Hi. I have just bought Skoda Octavia 2010 model. 1.6 SE diesel.

I am struggling to understand how to connect my mobile using blutooth function. When i press bluetooth button it mutes the radio. Does it mean this model does not have bluetooth functionality?

Also, i tried using micro sdxc card to listen to mp3 music but it did not work. Do i need different type of sd card? i.e. sdhc? And is 64gb not compatible?

Thanks

Nabeel

You need at least IIRC one mp3 file in the root of the card to make the Bolero(?) work correctly. Not too sure about the SDXC card but the SDHC card should be fine up to 32GB and maybe more depending upon if the firmware had ever been updated.

The BT module if fitted is under the drivers(?) seat.

Assuming you have a Bolero radio, then pressing the PHONE button button will only mute the audio unless you have the extra (optional on your model) Bluetooth unit.

To use the SD card you have to press the MEDIA button and select the card.

If you did not get the radio handbook with the car, you can download it from the pinned posting higher up this section.
