Erwin log in

Featured Replies

I have registered on the Erwin Skoda site but whenever I type my credit card details in I get a message saying the card details are incorrect.

I have contacted support who told me I must use Windows explorer (currently using firefox), which I have tried to no avail.

Any ideas?

@Skinneroo - "Windows Explorer" is a visual file manager. It is of no use for accessing the internet.

Presuming you have a Windows PC, you will have a program called "Microsoft Internet Explorer" (version number may vary) that is probably what you want in principle. You do still need to know which version(s) you have and Erwin expects.

The Erwin site system requirements state "Web browser :Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 -11 (other web browsers are not compatible)".

If you are using a Windows PC then you will have "internet Explorer" somewhere, but it might be hard to find if it's Windows 10. Best bet is to type "internet explorer" into the search box at the bottom left on your PC. It should come up with a light blue "e" icon. Open that and then try connecting to Erwin.

Note that Windows 10 has "Edge" browser (which also has a blue "e" icon, just to confuse things) but this is NOT the same as Internet Explorer.

When I search internet explorer and click on the icon I get the msn news page. Is this correct?

I still can't get Erwin to accept a payment through this browser.

I am using windows 10

@Skinneroo - If you've not re-configured the IE home page, then I'd think that either Microsoft.com or MSN news are likely yes.

You still need to know the IE version number. Start IE, and then select Help -> About IE to find this.

Tried it on ie11 and also re-registering. Still won't accept my card details.

Will contact Erwin again to try and resolve.

Someone on here had similar trouble that ended up being to do with (postal) address format, I think. Check whether yours has been scrambled or something.

Got my nephew to log in using his computer and card details. Worked ok.

Still a mystery, but at least i'm sorted with the info I require.

Thanks to all who posted.
