Hi All

I'm new here

I got my first Fabia in April - and it was a short love affair as a horse ran into us on Friday evening.

Just waiting on the insurance to write her off, and will be heading over to the fabia thread to find out what i should go for next

I had a candy white 1.0 Colour Edition.  I'd like to go for another possibly or a monte carlo depending on whats out there.

Pic of the carnage :(

Welcome to Briskoda.

Glad you are ok.

How's the horse?

Unfortunately it didn’t make it. Feel very sad for the poor thing. It just bolted onto the road from a lane. There was no time to even react.

Sounds like a scary moment for you. Lucky no-one else was hurt.

A warm welcome to the Forum!  Glad you're OK, shame about the horse.  Is it really a write off as it looks as though it could be repaired?

Accident repair place says 8k plus vat to repair and although you can’t see really, every single panel is damaged

Rotten luck!  I know you'll sympathise with the horse's owner but any chance of a contribution?  Otherwise hard on your insurance at next renewal:crying:

He doesn’t have public liability insurance for the horse. My solicitor is trying to claim on his house insurance (if he has it!)

I expect your car insurance company is already going down this route as well, they will not want to be at a loss.
