Any one know how to put the button back into the handbreak at all? 

Mine has managed to pop off this morning ! :/

You've managed to break your handbrake!

 

Does it not just push back in and click into place? If not then given that the chrome bit looks like plastic then maybe the moulded locking catch has broken off?

Tryed it. The garage I use also tried it as well. Kind of need a new rod! any idears on the price of a ned rod at all?

Maybe try a "brakers"? 

I'm not touching anything that may break my handbrake or break my hand. I need my hand for something!
