New 1.5TSi SE L DSG "Cappo" Beige picked up

Featured Replies

So it finally arrived and I picked up my Cappuccino Beige 1.5 TSi SE L DSG yesterday, some 18 weeks after ordering it back in February.

Early days but car feels smooth and well built.  Getting to grips with the Amundsen Infotainment system, have loaded Speed Cameras and Radio logos and I am going to tackle the Skoda Connect app today!

Have ordered mudflaps from Ireland so as soon as they arrive I shall be fitting them.

A friend had told me about a nano coating that you can apply to the alloys which helps against brake dust eating into the lacquer and also makes cleaning the wheels that much easier.  Thought i might try this whilst the wheels are all new and shiny.

Some pictures attached.

WOW, nice seats and interior on the last photo, can you show more please?

And what combination did you order to get such a LOVELY interior??     :o

Hi Macdemon,

Sorry to disappoint but it is the standard black interior!

It must have been the light when I took the picture, but I know what you mean it looks a little like a mink colour in photo.

welcome to the Karoq ownership in Kent  you're a bit further up the M20 than us but I'll look out for you, looks a good colour in the sunshine

Thanks Woman of Kent,

Have only seen one Karoq in my area, now's there's two!

I think the Cappuccino Beige looks good on the Karoq. It's why I got that colour too! Great choice of car, enjoy.

Hi MSkent.

How did you load safety cameras onto your infotainment unit. Albeit mine will have the Columbus unit fitted?

Hi Luckypants,

Thanks for the post, I too thought the Karoq looked good in Cappo Beige when first looking at the car although I am now led to believe that they have discontinued this colour?

Mike

Yes, I read that too. I wonder if it is more supply chain problems (like no beige Alcantara) and it will be reinstated in the future. Or maybe we now have rare cars?

You could be right, though I feel it’s more like ‘grey’ is flavour of the month and that there is not much call for the Cappo.

Still I like the colour and that’s all that matters!
