Rear driving lights all out - which fuse # / other ideas?

Featured Replies

So our 2012 Roomster Scout was sent to the wind screen shop for an exchange. When back home that evening, it's apparent that all four bulbs in rear driving lights are out. Unless theres a major leak and the car was sat outside that rainy day, I struggle seeing a change of windscreen provoking anything.

But, opened the rear clusters - all bulbs are in good nick. Rear fog light works, turns work, backing light haven't checked. So I suspect maybe a fuse. But then in the Norwegian handbook, I am highly confused seeing fuse #17 being radio + start stop & also for driving lights. Did find another though, that was a bit smoked at the 15A. Connected a trailer, which lit up just fine with driving lights. Would this not be dark if the fuse for the rear driving lights are out (same circuit) ?

Can anyone confirm that that driving lights really are on #17 also for rears, as fronts are just fine?

Check fuse numbers:

23 - 'side lights'

53 - 'Parking light = left side'

56 - 'Parking light = right side'

I can have a check again of course - but why focus on parking lights & side lights?

I mean, driving lights/daytime lights - so even the brake light (same bulb, more lux) doesn't trigger now.

Funnily enough, it was the #23 I'd suspected as broken that solved it all.

No idea how interior lightning and side lights should affect this...oh well.

Noticed that the clock was off, so they probably undid the terminals due FM antenna etc in the windscreen, and probably something messed up...

In UK the red lights on the rear are called side lights.
