Superb PHEV

Featured Replies

Would anyone know if the PHEV models are likely to be available to order anytime soon?

2020 is my guess.

Seeing as you still cannot buy a Golf or Passat GTE, I think you're probably right!

^^^ You can not buy them because the 1.4TSI engine will be discontinued as the GTE's would not have been any use with the WLTP.

All that fictional low Co2 g/km caused their demise.

So they will be back when VW / Audi have the 1.5 TSI in them.

Like maybe the first Skoda Hybrid will be on the go when there is the 1.0 TSI / Hybrid Fabia, or the new small SUV Kroqette!

I think it will come first in the superb

Bet you £5 to a charity of the winners choice that the Superb is not the first Plug in Hybrid Skoda.

Skoda announced at a motor show this year, 19 new models by the end 2020.

That will be new trims / facelifts of maybe 6 models, obviously they need, light hybrids, PHEV's & EV's.

They can test the technology in a Superb & put it in a Kodiaq.

As it is Autocar will have the scoop seeing as VW is a client, and then the others will publish what Auto Car has been given by their Insiders, ie Skoda / VW Management. (Auto Express will have the exclusive along with everyone else...)

I've seen a Passat GTE - lost of blue highlights on the exterior, blue is the new green after all.

I'm also interested in this, and my guess would be end of 2018/beginning of 2019, but with a 4 month waiting list.

That sounds like the timescale for Petrol & Diesel Skoda Models if they have the order books open now and you are lucky.
