Felicia door buzzer problem

Featured Replies

Hi my 1989 Felicia 1.3 has a buzzer to tell me if I leave the lights on when exiting the car but the buzzer now is on when I exit the car even when there are no lights on, the buzzer go's off when door is closed. I tried all the other light switch's  and nothing still stays on on exit.

Any one had this problem.

Let me check if I got it right because your message is a bit confusing. You say the buzzer sounds even after you switch off all lights and close front door(s). You've checked there is no exterior light lit. What about the interior light? Did you check to see it switches off when closing both front doors ?

On the other hand, you didn't say what happens when you stay in the car. According to your 'exiting' scenario, the buzzer should be on too at all time when driving. Is it so or is it not? Please clarify all conditions.

So sorry Ricardo I am not the best at explaining my problem, all I can say is I have it sorted and feel a right old fool I am not saying what it was but it took a second to sort out with a little press of a button.

Thank you once again for your reply you always seem to be there now are you any good on money matters only jocking.

FROM WALLY OF THE WEEK.

Wally :)

I'm not saying either what button or door it was. As for the money matters, I am good at counting and spending them. Curiously I am very far from being a woman

Turn your rear fog light off....

The rear fog light doesn't light up unless you turn on the low beam or the front fog lamps and the buzzer keeps on going everytime you have the rear fog light button pushed in, therefor you cannot the see the light on the dashboard.

So push the rear fog light button again and you should be good.
