Seeing as the Altea FR is out now with the 170 lump and the Golf GT is expected mid summer. When can we expect to see the 170 Octavia VRS tdi. The market for this ahas got to be huge, especially with fleet users.

Skoda UK have said nothing official to the dealers about a release date, so probably not for a while yet.

Usually with the model release, it is released on Mainland Europe, UK versions follow approx 6 months later.

So look out for a european release.

Skodaowners in Sweden got a newspaper three or four times a year from Skoda Sweden. New newspaper with 51 pages arrived today. Octavia RS TDI DFP 170hp will arrive this Autumn .

Not unless they have sneaked a front mount intercooler on for you from the factory.

One dealer told me that there will definitely be a diesel version soon. On the same day, another dealer told me there would definitely not be a diesel version. This was about a fortnight ago. Why can Skoda UK not at least have all of their dealers singing from the same hymn sheet?

If you look at the JBS rolling road day you'll see that not one PD130 got more than 133 bhp, most levelled out at 128/130.

They don't have more power than this, any results you see to the contrary are either inaccurate results or just false information.

The PD150 has a larger turbo and FMIC.
