Morning All.

 

 Whilst playing with my new Carista over the weekend, it threw up the dud aerial code. I thought the reception was a bit grim. Checked it out yesterday and it is not working.There are obviously a lot around, I have seen some old posts, but if anybody can suggest a decent quality current replacement it would be appreciated.My existing aerial has the small square  locking connector with Audi badge, not sure of the correct name for this fitting ?

Is it AM that is dud as that is a well known problem? I can no longer pick up AM on my Scout. 

 

I replaced the long aerial that came with the Scout with the VW Polo 'bee sting', (approx £10 from Skoda) looks a lot neater.

Thanks for the reply.I think it may be the amp as the FM reception is very poor and when I disconnect the lead it still remains the same, which says to me its not doing anything in the first place ?
