I have a pair of VRS calipers and carriers if you are interested so you can fit 288mm VRS discs.

He can't if he has 256's, he'd need new hubs as well.

 

OP if you have 256 mm front discs then they are FSIII calipers and you can find those on 1.4 16V petrols as well.
