Hi I have a skoda fabia 1400cc 16v and yesterday my engine fault light came on also the EPC came on the engine was tiking over at 10-1200 rpm but when i put my foot on the excelerator the revs would only drop. Please could someone advise me .

There will be fault codes, get them read, then post them please.
