Smartgate issue

Little bit of a strange one here. I done my monthly check up of my car and came across an issue with the smartgate. None of the skoda apps would connect to my phone and the main smartgate app throws up a 'problem with connection' error.

I've forgot the password from phone and reentered it (vin number in upper case), with the only error coming from the phone about the connection not having internet (to be expected).

However the error message still comes up on the smartgate app and none of the other apps wants to work.

Any suggestions?
