Hi all

After 6-8 weeks of determined searching I've finally managed to get myself an 03 VRS in red with low milage:D . First impressions are very good and I'm looking forward to taking to the 'Ring' at the end of this month.

1 question at this stage (no doubt there'll be more though), has anyone uprated the headlight bulbs as dipped beam seems to be pretty poor. In the biker world I have known of people upgrading and melting the plastic headlight lens and obviously I want to avoid this.

I got the car from an authorised dealer (very good they were too!) in Woolpit Bury St Edmunds, if the previous owner is on this forum and sees this, any chance of a PM as I have a couple of queries.

you can get all sorts of "uprated" bulbs from here.

I personally use the blue vision plus by philips but some people reccomend the osram silver stars.

I have been more than happy with the blue visions in my octy...it was the first thing i changed when i got it.
