Turbo air intake pipe connected to engine damage

Featured Replies

Dear Forum,

This is my first email. My Skoda Octavia 1.2 TSI is reporting fault engine message: P155A -Lowe limit not reach (Boost pressure regulation). Before going to garage I have been doing some basic dianotics. I've found that from air intake of the turbo box there is small pipe going directly to the motor. That pipe is loose (picture attached) and there is oil around  the area of the engine where the pipe should be connected to. It seems that the plastic end has come out from the engine. Could you tell me what that pipe is? Would it be easy to home repair?

Did you get this fixed? I had a broken breather pipe too but it wasn't the one in your hand it was from the rocker cover and I could smell oil fumes in the car, this didn't put a warning light on though. I have P155A fault code now and the yellow check engine light is on, I can reset it but it comes back during prolonged acceleration such as joining a motorway and then there's a loss of power. The car has recently had a new turbo actuator fitted but the fault still exists. Thanks

Did you get this issue sorted as I am experiencing the same problem

I have the same problem on a 2011 Fabia 1.2 Tsi. I replaced the turbo actuator with a Chinese copy part, it was alright for a few weeks and now the problem has reappeared. I’m looking for a better part because I think this is the cause of error code P155A (I used a Clarke code reader to get the reading) and the yellow engine light on the dashboard. Prolonged acceleration such as driving uphill on the motorway brings the light on. Looking forward to getting it fixed as the car struggles to reach 70 mph now. Any ideas anyone? Thanks
