Hi Guys - Firstly, without the help of this forum I may not have bought one so cheers to you all. I got a '05 Octy vRS in Black from Jewsons Skoda in Oxford who have been great - it's everything I knew it would be after looking to buy one for 6 months. At 25, insurance was not the cheapest (especially because my fiance has points on her licence but won't actually get to drive it anyway )so we'll see what happens when I have time to make some adjustments in a few places........

Just one question - the SS exhaust seemingly changed colour to match the car overnight after a long journey with a slightly heavy foot . Is such a quick build up normal and what do you guys clean it with?

Should just wipe of with regular car shampoo & sponge. If not, use some Autosol and it will be gleeming.

Welcome to Briskoda. Re the exhaust, are you sure your car hasn't had a diesel engine conversion? :rubchin:
