Thanks for the offer, closest I get is Birmingham from North Wales and the cost of getting new tips to fit the petrol exhaust and having them powder coated as well as getting it... I’m not saying no yet, it’s just one of those maybe options that I sort of fancy, but I’m not that fussed about tbh.

i can get from the cat back full stainless mid section + both rear back boxes and any tip you want for £550 fitted. you can find local fabricators easily enough just make sure they have rep.

vRS is a trim - like S-Line you can get Petrol and Diesel

Not really, we own O3 diesel since 2013, and now the second diesel.

vRS feels like a completely different car. I drive all the time both.

if you want GTI performance from a diesel it can be done, but you will end up paying GTI prices by the time you are finished. There's a local company to me who have a 380bhp MK7 GTD, the vRS diesel is the same engine is it not?

I think the key point missing in the "Rebadging" of the Diesel...  is only the UK refers to them as VRS... so while the VRD idea makes sense here it wouldnt in the other markets as they simply just RS models

Don’t agree. Yes a vRS has set options (not many of them) but it is meant to denote ‘Sporty’ like GTI or RS with Ford rather than just being a trim level.

Sporty cars should be petrol. IMO of course.

Very powerful diesels do exist, as do quick electric cars. The former are the recent past, the latter the future.

But at our level, sporty and diesel surely don’t mix. That just how I see it of course.

Try telling Audi that considering they where winning races With TDI and Etron cars lol

This got me interested. Does anyone know how that was achieved?

trying to get hold of the guy with the car it seems he has moved on.

Personally I couldn't care less if it's obvious there is one or two exhausts. Embarrassed about single wisps in winter? Really??

I like the idea that it's obvious it's a diesel, as it doesn't attract unwanted attention, but then mines a bit quicker than standard.
