Problems Vrs Blackline..... stuttering..

Featured Replies

Hello everyone. I need your help. I have a 2013 facelift Diesel Vrs Blackline.

Had it for a year, then strange things started to happen. It seems to have lost a bit of it's umpf.. going through the gears it's fine.

At 6th gear at 65/70, when accelerating it starts to stutter. I have had the injectors checked, they are fine. Just had is serviced as well. About a month ago it went into limp mode as I a was driving aggressively.

The garage has had it for a couple of weeks and is telling me it has an electronic fault.

He has since repaired it but it is still doing it.

Help please....

Do you know what fault codes would the diagnostic system show?

A report would be ideal

This should help starting from something.

Have you had the fix done to it

No not yet, the garage still has it. He thinks it's an electronic fault. He says the electronic signal isn't getting to the injectors properly.

Update.....the stuttering had stopped. The garage has it sorted. Apparently it was a wiring problem. The signal wasn't getting to the injectors properly. Changed the wiring loom, now hopefully it is fixed.

Another little problem has now shown it's head.....I have just had the engine carbon cleaned and remapped. She is now at 220bhp..no problem.

However, 2 days after this was done, she is now idling at 1000rpm. When I start her up she idles at the norm 750/800. As soon as I start driving and then pull up to a junction that's when the 1000rpm idle starts. I sometimes turn the engine off and restart. The same thing happens, idling fine until I pull up at another junction. It's driving me nuts...

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Sounds like it's try to Regen the DPF.  Might be an idea to get it warmed up then take it for a blast at 3000 rpm in third gear for 20mins to get it cleared out.
