Advice on buying a Fabia vrs

Featured Replies

I’m looking to buy my first vrs but finding one has been difficult. I have a few questions.

Will £1500 be enough to get something decent?

what should I look out for when viewing?

what would you consider “high miles”?

How strong are the engines?

where would you look for one?

thanks

Are you talking about a mk1 or mk2?

Sorry mk1

£1500 should get you a early one, later ones go for about £2500 on Auto trader.

The 1.9 TDI is a strong unit, so make sure it’s been serviced regularly and it will eat up the miles.

Worth a look on here see if someone is selling a Fabia on here.

look on the fabia vrs facebook page. usually loads for sale. Some questionable quality but overall i'd say it's the cheapest place to get one
